Single Sock Calibration
The standard socks provided with the SDK generally provide only a relative pressure measurement.
That means that you see the peaks and the valleys of the pressure events, but they don’t provide an absolute pressure value.
For this additional price, we can provide a calibration table of the 3 sensors for a sock, and configure Sensoria Lab to manage the calibration parameter to provide an estimate in PSI or kPa of the exerted pressure.
Caveats:
Only Sensoria Lab supports the management of the calibration parameters
Alternatively we can give you the parameters and the formula to reconstruct the estimation offline with your favorite analysis tool (Python notebook, MathLab, etc.)
Given the nature of the pressure sensors (textile), foot conformation, humidity and temperature changes can alter the offset of the zero value; therefore, the calibration curve needs to be corrected with a reference zero obtained at the beginning of the data collection time; this can be done automatically with Sensoria Lab; we can provide more details
